Artist Statement

I am retired diagnostic radiologist and now spend my time painting primarily in watercolor and acrylics. My association and fascination with art started as a child, being primarily self-taught. I utilize my imaging skills to project my inspiration from nature onto the canvas.
I enjoy the medium of watercolor and acrylics for its spontaneity and transparency. The joy and inner peace I experience when I paint is what I wish the viewer to feel upon looking at my work.
