Artist Statement

My name is Anna Laquerre, I am a photographer from CT. I create images that feel like they are straight out of a dreamlike film. My work lives in the space between dreamy and unsettling yet bold and theatrical. Im drawn to creating a feeling of emotional dissociation and I want my audience to not only view my pieces but feel as if they are stepping into a new universe. Thus far I have created my photoshoots start to finish solo, from sketching the ideas, set design, mood, makeup, shooting and editing.
