Artist Statement
My practice exists at the intersection of capture and sculpture. I make a photograph of an object, print it, cut it out and physically reassemble along with found imagery into a storied still life. I photograph the assemblage once again. By capturing the collaged scene, I am bending the reality of perception using scale and dimension. Vibrant color is used to define space and evoke emotion.
