Artist Statement

To consciously linger, I seem to loom more like. Looming over what’s next. A game I tune up when it isn’t interesting enough. A game the subconscious only knows and that I blindly fumble within. It’s the dark behind your eyelids, the liminal space of dreaming, and the conscious push to stray away from the known present state. The work is a journal of my subconscious narrating pre-projected chaos with autobiographical figures. Painting is an act of catharsis used to unravel projections of a conscious present state which is for me the act of ruminating.
