Artist Statement

'The still life is a genre that is very appealing to me. I find my inspiration in common objects found around the house as well as in my garden. My still life compositions are built around color, a common object such as a plate, bowl, fruit, and glass etc., finally a graphic patterns which serves as a background. In terms of color, I most often use a simple primary color composition and occasionally an analogous color composition. Finally, I am always keen in using a set of neutral color to balance the overall effect.
