Artist Statement
I am fascinated by the way light wraps around objects, travels through glass, and creates a sense of presence. Through landscapes, chandeliers, and interior spaces, I explore the movement of light using color, rhythm, and gesture. Chandeliers hold light and cast light around a room, creating their own world of refraction and mood. These sensory experiences are transformed onto the canvas using oil, ink and thread.
