Artist Statement

My work explores the expressive possibilities of light, shadow, subtlety, and atmosphere. Across different media, I am drawn to quiet moments in which familiar places, figures, and objects take on a emotional presence. Through shifts in tone, softened edges, layered surfaces, and restrained details, I seek to evoke the resonance of memory and feeling without defining a single narrative.

I am particularly interested in the relationship between the individual and larger structures, whether architectural, natural, social, or psychological. My work often considers how people move through, respond to, or are shaped by the environments around them. Rather than offering fixed meanings, I aim to create images that invite reflection and allow viewers to bring their own experiences, associations, and emotions to the work.
