Jie Grady

Artist Statement

I have studied all aspects of designing and making clothes in three different countries. I started my study in Northern China where I grew up. I then moved to Japan where I attended the esteemed Tokyo Institute of Technology. My post graduate work as a designer brought me to New York City where I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. I endeavor to bring all my international experience into original, artistic clothes that reflect my training and myself as an artist.
