Artist Statement
I make work for the times when closeness is too much. When there is safety in being alone and solace in open landscapes where you can see people coming from a long way off. This is something you can hold in your hands, something I made with mine.
My work deals with the concept of home. I work to understand the balance between finding home in a landscape and making a landscape into a home. There is a cost, unevenly paid.
