Artist Statement

I hand turned, hand threaded my containers on a lathe, using a wide range of domestic, exotic, salvaged timbers and various palm nuts. Instead of using dye or other texturizing tools, I leverage the natural color and patter of the materials in my organic design. The result is a collection of whimsical and unique containers that is portable, functional and decorative.
