Artist Statement

I’m drawn to how the natural world composes delicacy and radiance without intent: how ice fractures into crystalline patterns; how water bends light into motion; and how fog drifts across its surface, distorting reflection yet creating elegance in form. I’m fascinated by how clouds filter sunlight, casting fleeting shadows that reshape the landscape, and how a gardenia’s petals unfold in near-perfect symmetry, their defined texture suggesting both fragility and order. Each photograph is my attempt to reveal how nature shapes, erases, and recreates itself with unpredictability. In its quiet mastery, nature creates art and beauty that I believe we, as humans, can never fully attain. It’s why, in an act of humility, I try to capture it so as to preserve, in a single frame, the fleeting perfection that reminds us how wondrous it is simply to exist within this natural world.
