Artist Statement

Rhythm, flow, and pattern imbue all that is natural. The patterns of rapid water are mirrored in flowing roots, riffling leaves, and swirling vapor. Nature copies itself everywhere we look. My art is inspired by and drawn from these natural patterns.

The images are created using digital photography and digital imaging and collage tools. In all cases I seek to extract, or at least showcase, the rhythms and patterns I see when I am outdoors.
