Artist Statement

Art is more than drawings and pencils to me. It’s a way for me to relax and step back from everything else going on in my life. It’s my safe space, where I can find peace and joy after a rough day. I make art that I think is “cool,” but I also create art with a deeper meaning to me.

My artwork represents nature. There is always some sense of nature or life fluidity that comes into play. My inspirations are nature and my twin, siblings, cousin, mom, and dad, all the people who have helped me improve my skills and become the artist I am today.

My art means the world to me. I love being able to work hard and stay dedicated to a piece, then sit back once it’s completed, stare at it, and acknowledge my work. I recognize both the flaws and the good parts. I like seeing my vision, ideas, and soul come to life, and I see that in each and every one of my pieces.
