Artist Statement
Janimarie is a Ceramic Artist working in the Rocky Mountain desert of Utah. Her functional pottery resembles the Sego Lily, a delicate silken touch juxtaposed against warm red stone.
While her Sculpture is born of those moments that gnaw at your gut until they find release through the making process. Her pieces contain a thick layer of melancholy and humanity.
