Rachel White
Artist Statement
I am an award-winning poet and writer, and an occasional visual artist. Compelled to gesture at the largely invisible mystery that surrounds us, I make things. Art helps us reach the edge of what is possible and glimpse further into those mysteries than we otherwise could. Much of my work praises the living earth and criticizes the social relations that are destroying it.
