Artist Statement
I’m inspired by the beauty and presence of the things I see and the way light affects ordinary objects. Late afternoon sun abstracting a building or landscape or the beautiful shapes in a portrait. I have a constant hunger to learn new ways of achieving different effects and keep my sketchbook close by for quick sketches.
