Artist Statement

The name of the work is "A Day at the Beach". The moment I saw the selfie of my friend on a beach in Florida, I was inspired. I knew ithad to become a mosaic. The background was sky, ocean and beach. The subject was wearing a big straw hat, wired rimmed mirroed sunglasses and earrings made it a mulit-media peice of art. Very well suited and perfect for sight and touch art exhibit.
