Artist Statement

Kel Jordan is a contemporary abstract artist whose work embraces chaos and movement while bridging the world’s of chronic pain with God’s beauty. Kel’s artwork is a therapy for her own autoimmune conditions: at times a mix of raw pain and frustration through her signature mark making, at other times embracing hope, melancholy, or joy which is seen as she blends warm and earthy tones with the sunny colors of the world around her. Based in Ventura, California, her life and art are deeply inspired by the desert, beach and modern Southwest lifestyle.
