Artist Statement

As an interior designer of 35 years my passion for the interplay of form, texture,and balance extends beyond traditional design and into mixed media art. With a sense of creativity and an eye for detail and color, I find great joy and freedom in that expression.
Having moved to the Central Coast a few years ago, I am inspired by the beautiful surrounding vistas. I hope to evoke both emotion and intrigue in my work. I love abstract art because it invites the viewer to find their own way into the painting with their personal memories and experiences.
