Danielle Pagano
Artist Statement
My body of artwork delves into the intricacies of the human experience, navigating the delicate balance between impermanence and eternity. It seeks to interrogate life's motifs while commemorating their fleeting nature. Enraptured by vanishing moments, my work encapsulates the essence of 'This too shall pass'.
Using oil, acrylic, spray paint, and oil pastels, I craft vibrant compositions that echo fragments of memories etched into my mind. Through the interplay of color and heavy brushstrokes, I endeavor to evoke introspection and solitude in the viewer, prompting reflection on life's transient nature.
Rather than fixating on the material world, my art invites viewers to find joy in appreciating life's ephemeral moments. Each piece serves as a visual journey, inviting contemplation of the interconnectedness of relationships, the impact of mental illness, and the consequences of over-consumerism.
