Artist Statement

I create my mosaic-like paintings because I am drawn to the way countless individual fragments can come together to form something larger. Each mark is painted separately by hand, slowly building rhythm, movement, and depth across the surface. The process mirrors what fascinates me in nature: repetition without exact sameness, order mixed with irregularity, and complex structures made from simple forms.
