Artist Statement

Doodling is a birthright. It does not require talent or technique, intellect or training. It is as natural as wind moving through trees, as waves tracing patterns in the sand. It comes from a place beyond effort, beyond control. When we allow ourselves to surrender to it, something extraordinary happens. The mind, always caught in the tug-of-war of opposites—good and bad, right and wrong—falls away. In its place, a vast stillness emerges, a river of silence from which pure creation flows. Doodling is not about the result—it is about the act of letting go, of allowing the unseen to reveal itself through us. It the Art of Being. Victoria Friedman
