Artist Statement
I make drawings by hand using systems of simple rules that generate complex, unpredictable forms. By relinquishing control over the final image, I allow the drawing to emerge through repetition, time, and accumulated gesture. My work explores the space between order and chance, structure and organic growth, and intention and surrender.
