Artist Statement

I get inspiration with things that surround me like nature, colors, sounds and even smells. I like to be able through my paintings, to invite the viewer to take a moment to breathe deeply and relax, to let go of the stresses and worries of daily life and simply be. I create movement so that my artwork transports the person to a different place by inspiration.
As an artist, I am drawn to the world of abstract art and the freedom it offers to explore different mediums. My work is a reflection of my fascination with color, texture, and form, and how these elements interact with each other to create a unique visual experience.
Abstract art can be a powerful tool for connecting with emotions, as it allows for a more personal and intuitive expression that is why I use different techniques like underpainting, dry brush, scratched finish, knives, spatulas and a variety of mediums such as paste, sand, beads, gold foil and many others to create textured.
