Artist Statement

This work highlights the balance between structure and texture, capturing a quiet tension that feels both architectural and intimately familiar. The surface invites you to see an abstracted glimpse of wood, grounded in form and material. This work reflects my interest in geometry and texture, combining texture and composition to create meaning beyond shape alone.
I get inspiration with things that surround me like nature, colors, sounds and even smells. I like to be able through my paintings, to invite the viewer to take a moment to breathe deeply and relax, to let go of the stresses and worries of daily life and simply be. I create movement so that my artwork transports the person to a different place by inspiration.
As an artist, I am drawn to the world of abstract art and the freedom it offers to explore different mediums. My work is a reflection of my fascination with color, texture, and form, and how these elements interact with each other to create a unique visual experience.
