Artist Statement

My art is a reflection of the beauty I find in nature, from the mountains of my homeland in Argentina to the shores of Rowayton CT where I've lived the last 30 years.

I use oils and acrylics to convey my ideas. Through layered paint, expressive mark-making, and selective detail, I balance realism with painterly interpretation. Low vantage points and atmospheric depth encourage the viewer to engage with nature from within, revealing the extraordinary presence found in often-overlooked places.

Ultimately, my paintings are an invitation to pause -- to reconnect with the power of the natural world and to find beauty in its quiet, fleeting moments.
