Artist Statement

My work is derived from a bouquet of sources including; intuitive connections to my inner being, my love of all nature, art historical and contemporary art influences, personal experiences, and intuition. I consistently receive spontaneous imagery that reveals itself as a fragment or in rare circumstances, an entire piece. I use these fragments to initiate and articulate forms and fashion them into complex compositions. This has been the river that I have accessed for many, many years.
