Artist Statement

For me photography is a way of seeing all unto its self. It's a journey of self improvement , discovery and experiments. A freedom of self expression with and without words. A picture can be an instant of a moment or a time exposure yet maybe it's done with multi-exposures and time. After all Photography is a Mechanical ART. Everything and anything can be put inside those four right angles that I see and use to create the image that I pray gives the pleasure and awe to the viewer.
With B&W the light is seen as shades of grays. By bringing in color to the picture we can Sean additional direction with in the image. Think of the path that the eye travels as one looks at a picture.
With the two images that I am presenting I hope there will be a sense of visual alteration. The images are straight from the camera. Yet they do have changes from LR/ Light Room small differences as for exposure, contrast,light and dark and other adjustments .
Both picture are done with a single exposure. Neither have been activated in Photo Shop, they only have the one exposure and no layers.
As for my Artistic practice it stared back in high school then to college and then on the job learning working for professional photographers .
Its the old saying of eat, drink, breath and love the work..
As for my influences it's from HS & college and the photographers that I worked and learned from . Plus from the people and businesses that I work for .
In school I loved Alfed Stieglitz, who I call the God farther of American photography . Sure there's many to my list. Lets have a cup of coffee and talk .
