Artist Statement
I am a former toy inventor and designer who has shifted my practice back to where I came from-painting and telling stories. I love experimenting with unusual materials mixed with classic color theory and old masters techniques. I love that everyday brings another discovery and more color in my life.My practice is influence by Magritte,Sargent and many of the great turn of the century illustrators, N.C. Wyeth and Maxfield Parrish amongst others.
