Artist Statement


In my art I use found, abandoned, and recycled materials.

My most recent work is collage. I play around with line, color, shape, and variety of surfaces. This enables me to let the composition evolve as I add and remove elements.

My approach is to begin working and see where it leads me. My frequent walks in nature provide inspiration for the geometric features of my artwork.
