Artist Statement

My vibrant pastel landscapes depict scenes of New England & other places I have lived in or visited, while my bold & colorful acrylics are generally intuitive/abstract. I was the 2022 Artist-in-Residence at Farmington Valley Arts Center (Avon, CT) and my paintings have been exhibited in juried shows at the Connecticut Pastel Society, Lyme Art Association, Central Massachusetts Pastel Society, Pastel Society of Maine, Rhode Island Watercolor Society, West Hartford Art League, Pastel Society Alaska, Cape Cod Cultural Center, New Hampshire Art Association & other organizations.
