Artist Statement

As the daughter of a carpenter and a milliner, and the granddaughter of a custom tailor, I witnessed a reverence for materials and a love for making. Additionally, I am committed to the alchemical process that takes place under fire, the chancy, moment by moment transformation that destroys and rebirths something new and evocative.
