Artist Statement
I was born into chaos and learned early that survival often depends on finding patterns where none seem to exist. That experience shaped the way I see the world and ultimately the way I create art.
My work begins with structure. I build visual systems, then challenge them through repetition, rotation, fragmentation, and disruption. Patterns are pushed and pulled until symmetry and asymmetry collide. What emerges is neither complete order nor complete chaos, but a space where the two become inseparable.
I think of this process as visual wrangling. The act of taking countless competing elements and negotiating them into a harmonic rhythm. The resulting images reflect both my creative process and my understanding of the world itself. Beneath apparent disorder there are patterns, relationships, and connections waiting to be discovered.
Synthetic Chaos, L.A. explores that tension. It is a meditation on complexity, balance, and the strange reality that order and chaos are often the same thing viewed from different perspectives.
