Artist Statement
When I paint, I feel a sense of calm and focus. I am able to step away from chaos, or the stress that surrounds me, to find joy in creating something beautiful. Every painting has a story to tell. Each painting demands that I listen. There is always a balance between listening, seeing, feeling and creating. Painting is a true labor of love. I enjoy painting both representational and abstract art.
