Artist Statement
As I continue to explore the world of watercolor painting, I am constantly researching new ideas, and refining my skills. Watercolor is a medium I truly love for its versatility and luminosity. My painting style is more detailed, and characterized by vivid colors. I am drawn to a variety of subjects, many of which emerge from commissions, and requests from galleries and cultural events. Many opportunities arise, through the creative associations I'm involved with, such as The Arts of Point Richmond. Point Richmond is a thriving art community where I enjoy the exchange of ideas, and support among my fellow artists. This encourages me to keep exploring and expanding my artistic vision, and to strive to create works that celebrate story, nature, and color.
