Artist Statement

I have a passion for many media - for the past several years pastel drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting have been my main media.

Art making is a language unto itself, which I work in most every day. It is a basic necessity to me, like eating and breathing

I have taught life drawing, painting, encaustic, bookbinding, calligraphy, and mixed media of all sorts, for the past 30 years.
