Artist Statement

I always had an interest in the arts throughout my high school years. In 1980, I was awarded a Governor's School of Arts Scholarship at Bucknell University.

Later, I continued perusing my artistic endeavors by taking various courses while earning a teaching degree.

Over time, I participated in various art shows using various mediums: ranging from painting, sewing, knitting and so on.

Over the past 10 years, my artistic palette expanded into the exciting realm of lampworking (glassblowing), designing and creating jewelry. This medium allows me to create amazing pendants, earrings, and bracelets.

I also have been awarded the Master Artisan status by the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.
