Artist Statement

Team of Humanity is an abstract collage (acrylic, torn paper, ink, rubbings) which inspired my concept of team. It is inclusive of all human beings. Like peeling the layers of an onion skin or doing away with so many labels that don’t allow for seeing each other as a human being. Our common sameness is that we’re all human beings first and foremost and we are interconnected. To peel away the labels can set up a path toward peace for the Team of Humanity.
