Marguerite Carroll Carlton

As an intuitive artist, Marguerite Carlton is inspired by her daily conversations with nature in an urban environment, resulting in art that can be synchronously organic, meditative, and provocative.

A native Detroiter with strong Alabama roots, she has always had the soul and sensibilities of a storyteller artist. Marguerite freely moves between one-element pieces and mixed media - making marks with paint, pen and ink, while also creating with photography and discovered objects.
