Artist Statement

The majority of my work features dramatic landscapes characterized by complementary colors and sweeping brushstrokes. I draw inspiration from post-impressionist painters, particularly Vincent van Gogh, as well as German expressionists, particularly Franz Marc and August Macke. Like these artists, I aim to evoke strong emotional responses in my paintings by exploring and experimenting with color.
