Artist Statement

I am a painter inspired by the jewel tones of nature as well as sparkle and contrast.
The texture of fabric or wood against fruits, vegetables, glass and ceramic inspire me.
I like to find color within color, crisp edges, deep shadows and reflection.
i try to make each painting a sparkly jewel that brings joy.
