Artist Statement

My work explores the relationship between the interaction of color, movement, and flow. Color plays a central role in my process, sometimes harmonious, sometimes clashing, always dynamic. I’m drawn to the contrasts of vivid hues that collide and blend. The colors mingle but still retain their integrity as they interact becoming something new when they meet. This interplay creates a sense of energy and emotion that draws the viewer into the piece.

Though abstract in form, my work is deeply inspired by nature, especially water. The flowing quality of my materials mirrors the rhythms and unpredictability of waves, rain, rivers, and currents. From a distance, the pieces appear bold and graphic, but stepping closer reveals intricate details, subtle textures, and unexpected moments of depth and delicacy.

Each painting is a balance between control and surrender. A visual record of fluid energy and color in motion, captured in time.
