Artist Statement

Forests are a sanctuary: a hallowed place where the natural environment is in play. Our artwork is for Andrea- about her love of forests, about how she was so attuned to natural order and how she embraced life. She was my friend, my mentor and inspiration. We did many projects together. . . and this piece is a tribute to her spirit
