Artist Statement

Danielle Piloto is an American realist figurative oil painter.

Born in Chicago, Illinois Danielle grew up expressing herself through her artwork.

Danielle is mainly a self-taught artist. Her main focus is depicting the experiences of her subjects in various natural and surreal environments while utilizing symbols to develop her painted stories. Many of the environments and symbols are mysterious versus literal. This air of mystery is intended to convey an overall mood of the work.

She has been granted awards for her work and exhibits her paintings though out the Midwest.
