Artist Statement


For the past few years, I have been creating woven bead mosaics in 2D and 3D, and bead installations. Beads allow me the ability to paint with a myriad of colors, transparencies, textures and lusters of light in three dimensions. My work straddles many categories of decorative craft and fine art.

I hope that those who view my work will enjoy the sensuous optical, dimensional, and tactile stimuli that I am presenting in them and experience a sense of wonder.

My work often celebrates artists of any media, nature, climate change, science, space exploration, and visionary art.
