Artist Statement

My artistic goal is to bring to life a marvelous moment in time. Ephemeral situations become storytelling symbols, and that story lives on as myth after all the witnesses have departed. Bare trees and luminous sunset clouds collaborate to create a natural stained-glass-like immersion for the wanderer. A bright moon centers itself while a nearer street light showcases blooming lilacs against a backyard fence. These are a couple of the fleeting stories I feel compelled to preserve forever.
