Artist Statement

The things in nature that many people take for granted such as the twist of a branch, the color variation of a leaf, the balance of a pine tree, are the things I take the most inspiration from. It’s these unique elements that I try to capture in each of my one-of-a-kind welded bronze and copper sculptures.

Through the process of the creation I feel as though I become the torch and fire; I become the bronze and copper- I allow myself to sink deeply into the spirit of the material as well as the object I am creating.

Having known nothing but the artist’s life, the legacy of my artist family runs deep in my soul giving me the strength, business acumen and background knowledge to pursue a variety of artistic mediums with confidence and precision.
