Artist Statement

My aim is to give reign to my imagination and bring dead wood to life.

For over twenty years i have been studying the art of puppet making. I use materials that are natural, found, donated, and/or recycled, in order to give the puppet more personality and spiritual depth. Hardwoods are carefully selected and eco-harvested or recycled to fit the character of the puppet being created.

I also perform live puppet shows and produce stop motion animation in order to better create an entire world and narrative for my creations to reside in.
