Artist Statement

I think visually and work every day. My practice has always been to articulate with pens, pencils, computers and (primarily) paint. Although I watch art world fashions, I go my own way. Often the result has been surreal and sometimes real. I have been playing with landscapes and how they are manipulated by humans. I show how the natural world affects humans. There is always a deep awareness of the environment and worry about it. And current events (if momentous enough) appear in my work too.
