Artist Statement

"Painting is the most honest way I know how to speak. It is my way of connecting with the world in its most meaningful form. In my Phoenixville studio, I work in a state of 'liberated concentration,' where my paintings become an instinctual response to the life around me.

Whether I am capturing the intimate details of a floral still life or the soulful history of the human figure, I am always seeking to honor the inherent beauty of the form. I describe my paintings as 'my love letters to life'—tactile, vibrant works that celebrate the profound and enduring connection between the observer and the observed."
