Artist Statement

Created to echo the dreams and fantasies I so often revisit in paintings, these sculptures harness light as a means of giving shape to the intangible. Their airy, open forms evoke clouds and molecular structures—symbols that, much like dreams and emotions, exist in both delicate and complex states. Light plays a central role, illuminating specific areas of the work, particularly the expansive base form, which represents the most prominent aspects of the subconscious. In contrast, the reflections on the surface and walls symbolize the overlooked or forgotten fragments of memory and thought. The recent incorporation of colored vinyl – similar to stained glass - introduces new layers of meaning, inviting viewers to engage with the work through their own interpretations, stories, and feelings.
